Job description

Your new company, a Prestigious International legal firm based in Central London, is well-established with an excellent reputation in the industry and among clients. They are seeking a Payroll Manager on a 6-month contract to support the team during a transformation project.

Your new role
  • Ensure HR data is captured accurately, timely, and consistently, maintaining data integrity.
  • Process three payrolls (staff, partners, and trainee maintenance).
  • Onboard new joiners, including HMRC details.
  • Enter monthly changes such as salary adjustments, allowances, overtime, recruitment awards, and manage absences (including unpaid leave and maternity leave).
  • Calculate leavers' payments and process P45s.
  • Download and process tax codes and student loan information from HMRC.
  • Follow instructions from the Tax team regarding seconded employees.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation.
  • At least 5 years of payroll experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll software.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ADP.
