Job summary

Hoop Recruitment is assisting a prestigious organisation in Cardiff with a temporary payroll leadership role. You will oversee monthly payrolls for 500+ employees, ensuring accurate and timely delivery while strengthening controls in a hybrid working environment.

The contract is circa four months, 37 hours per week, with a pro rata salary of £38,930-£46,445. Pre-employment checks apply; you’ll join a supportive culture focused on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience for 500+ employees.
• Strong payroll legislation and compliance knowledge.
• Ability to resolve complex payroll queries and calculations.
• Experience with team leadership or supervision.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and customer-service skills.
• CIPP membership.
• Experience with iTrent/MHR is advantageous.
