Job description

Are you an experienced Payroll Manager, looking for a rewarding career position at a growing Birmingham-based software company?

Do you have strong Payroll Management experience, leading teams of 6+, working across numerous clients & ideally in an outsourced / professional services / bureau environment?

If so & you are looking for a strong, established, unique & friendly team / company we d like to hear from you!

Job title: Payroll Manager.

Location: Birmingham West Birmingham, Coleshill area. This role is 5 days onsite in the office, so commutable to this area of Birmingham is essential! Good for: Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Warwick, Leamington Spa, etc.

Salary: £55K - £60K Basic + Benefits package (25 days holiday, private health, etc)

We d hope that an experienced Payroll specialist will know what the day-to-day would look like, so we won t list that here! However, to give you some idea of expectations, specific to this payroll position, see below:

- Extensive payroll experience in a similar role (Bureau / outsourced / professional services environment)

- Experience working in a fast-paced payroll environment with variably paid populations & multiple deadlines

- Sound knowledge of Average Holiday Pay, National Minimum Wage and all statutory absence legislation

- Sound working knowledge of managing a high-volume payroll; the bulk of our clients operate large, flexible & sometimes temporary workforce s.

- Strong people and leadership skills
