Midlothian Council is seeking a proactive Employment & Reward Team Leader based at Fairfield House with hybrid working. You will reconcile and deliver payroll for council employees, ensuring policy, financial and data protection compliance.

You will support HR/Payroll transformation projects to enhance staff experiences across Council services. The role requires HR practice and payroll qualifications, strong interpersonal skills, and competence with Windows-based software.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of Certificate in HR Practice and Payroll Technician Certificate or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile and deliver payroll for Midlothian Council employees, ensuring compliance with policy and legislation.
• Support transformation of HR/Payroll processes to improve staff experience.
• Assist with year-end payroll tasks and data protection compliance.
