A well-established business based in Hayes is seeking a Payroll/HR Administrator to oversee payroll processing and HR administration. The role supports both field-based and office staff and involves using Sage Payroll and a workforce platform (Work Pal) for managing daily operations. This is a permanent role with the expectation of expanding the HR/Payroll function in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Process payroll including holiday pay, overtime, bonuses, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.)Maintain accurate records in Sage and Work PalPrepare monthly attendance and wage sheetsManage starters/leavers, contracts, and employee documentationHandle payroll queries and submit pension reportsMaintain absence, holiday, and training recordsSupport recruitment, onboarding, and compliance checks (e.g. RTW, DBS, driving licences)Attend disciplinary meetings and record minutesRequirements
Previous experience in payroll and HR administrationProficient in Sage Payroll and confident with digital workforce platformsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive informationOrganised and capable of working independently
