Job summary

Brewer Morris is seeking an experienced Payroll Executive to oversee a portfolio of 30–50 client payrolls per month in Torquay or Poole. The role involves end-to-end payroll processing, client queries and ensuring deadlines are met.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on payroll experience in practice, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with PayCircle (Xero is a plus). Hybrid working is available after probation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll experience, ideally within practice/bureau.
• Experience managing multiple client payrolls and deadlines.
• Knowledge of statutory, maternity, sick and holiday pay.
• Confident client communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• PayCircle experience advantageous; Xero useful.

Payroll Executive | Up to £30,000 | Torquay or Poole

We’re recruiting for an experienced Payroll Executive to join a growing accountancy practice in Torquay or Poole.

You’ll manage your own portfolio of around 30-50 client payrolls per month, handling the process from input/import through to checking, calculations and client queries.

We’re looking for:

• Hands-on payroll experience, ideally within practice/bureau
• Experience managing multiple client payrolls and deadlines
• Knowledge of statutory, maternity, sick and holiday pay
• Confident client communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Paycircle experience advantageous; Xero useful

Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE

Hybrid: Office-based during probation, then option to work from home Mondays & Fridays
