Job summary

Brewer Morris is seeking an experienced Payroll Executive for Torquay or Poole. You will manage a portfolio of 30-50 client payrolls monthly, handling input, calculations, and client queries. Hybrid work arrangement offered with probationary office presence and potential home-based days.

The role requires hands-on payroll experience, multi-client payroll management, knowledge of statutory pay, confident communication, and strong Excel skills. Paycircle experience is advantageous; Xero is useful.

Payroll Executive | Up to £30,000 | Torquay or Poole

We’re recruiting for an experienced Payroll Executive to join a growing accountancy practice in Torquay or Poole.

You’ll manage your own portfolio of around 30-50 client payrolls per month, handling the process from input/import through to checking, calculations and client queries.

We’re looking for:

• Hands-on payroll experience, ideally within practice/bureau
• Experience managing multiple client payrolls and deadlines
• Knowledge of statutory, maternity, sick and holiday pay
• Confident client communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Paycircle experience advantageous; Xero useful

Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE

Hybrid: Office-based during probation, then option to work from home Mondays & Fridays
