Payroll Data Migration Specialist - 12-18 month contract - London - Hybrid - up to £50,000 per annum


Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be exclusively partnered with a company, who are looking for a Payroll Data Migration Specialist, on a 12 - 18 month basis. This role will lead the end to end payroll data migration process, as part of the implementation of Oracle HCM. This Payroll Data Migration Specialist will be responsible for the extraction, transformation, validation, and upload of all payroll related data into the new system. This role is on a hybrid basis consisting of 2 days per week, based in their central London office.


The Payroll Data Migration Specialist will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:

  • Own and deliver the full payroll data migration workstream into Oracle HCM.
  • Lead the extraction of data from legacy payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct thorough data validation and reconciliation prior to each migration cycle.
  • Support the execution of parallel pay runs during testing phases to ensure consistency between systems.
  • Ensure all data migration activities are carried out in accordance with GDPR and data security requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the wider project team regarding payroll data and business rules.
  • Support post-go-live payroll accuracy checks and system stabilisation


Key Skills:

  • Proven experience of payroll data migration, ideally within an Oracle HCM implementation.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation, processes, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience with payroll systems (e.g. ADP, Oracle) and strong understanding of payroll data architecture.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data transformation, cleansing, and reconciliation.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting parallel pay runs and payroll testing.
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
