A leading professional services organization is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to manage end-to-end payroll operations. This hybrid role offers flexibility, working 4 days a week in the London office and 1 day from home, with several benefits including private healthcare and an annual discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

  • Experience in UK payroll within a professional services environment is ideal.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software, especially ADP is desirable.
  • Advanced Excel skills required (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables).

  • Support payroll processing for UK and small EMEA payroll.
  • Process new starters, leavers, and salary deductions.
  • Liaise with HMRC and stakeholders as necessary.

Job description

Are you an experienced & ambitious payroll professional looking for a new challenge? We are pleased to be working with a fantastic professional services organisation who are currently hiring a permanent Payroll Coordinator.

Reporting into the Benefits Manager, this role will work within a small and supportive team responsible for end to end payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the payroll team in the processing of a UK & small EMEA payroll
  • Processing new starters, leavers and salary deductions
  • Calculating salary increases, holiday, sick and maternity pay
  • Process monthly benefit files for BIK tax deductions
  • Liaise with HMRC as necessary
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, HR & Finance
  • Resolving payroll related queries
  • Auto enrolment duties

Experience required:

  • Excellent understanding of UK payroll legislation, ideally gained within a professional services or similar environment
  • Proficiency with payroll software (ADP being highly desirable)
  • Advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups/Pivot Tables)
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills

This role offers flexibility for hybrid working, with 4 days a week in their London offices and 1 day WFH. Working hours are 9:30-5:30 and benefits include an annual discretionary bonus, private healthcare, 25 days annual leave & free breakfast & lunch onsite.
