Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Payroll & Compliance Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of weekly timesheets, as well as keeping our candidate compliance records up to date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Support
    • Collect and verify weekly timesheets from temporary staff
    • Chase candidates and clients for completed and authorised timesheets
    • Submit all authorised timesheets to the payroll department by set deadlines
    • Maintain accurate records of timesheet submissions and approvals
    • Address and resolve any timesheet-related queries in a timely manner
  • Candidate Compliance
    • Ensure all registered candidates have up-to-date compliance documents (e.g. Right to Work, DBS, qualifications)
    • Maintain and update internal compliance tracking systems
    • Notify relevant teams of any missing or expired documentation
    • Conduct regular compliance audits and follow-ups with candidates
  • Reference Checks
    • Obtain and document professional references for all new candidates
    • Follow up with referees and escalate delays where necessary
    • Ensure all reference records are accurately logged and securely stored
About You
  • Previous experience in an administrative or compliance-based role preferable (recruitment agency experience is a plus)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Confident in chasing information from both candidates and clients
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with database systems
