Job Role: Payroll co-ordinator

Location: Head Office, 1 Ravenhill Reach, Belfast, BT6 8RB

Agile Working: Option / Working from Home

Salary: Starting on £30,024

Hours: 37 hours per week

Monday - Thursday (9:00 am – 5:00 pm)
Friday (9:00 am – 4:30 pm)

Purpose of the job

The Cedar Foundation has approx. 650 employees and delivers a range of services that enable people with disabilities to get the most out of life and to be fully included in their communities. Our services are centred around the individual needs of each person and are delivered throughout Northern Ireland.

This is an integral role, assisting the Payroll Manager in the monthly processing of a busy Payroll Department. Ensuring that payroll is accurately processed and that all wages are cleared for payment on the allocated day.

Essential Criteria
  1. At least 5 GCSEs or equivalent including English & Maths to Grade C or above
  2. Minimum of 2 years' experience of payroll processing to include RTI and Pensions, analysis of rotas and returns with multiple pay elements
  3. Experience in nominal ledger and journal posting
  4. Knowledge and experience of using digitalised payroll software
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
