Payroll Specialist (Temporary Role Part Time)

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented payroll professional looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a competent Payroll Specialist to oversee the processing of both weekly and monthly payrolls for a client based in Central Wakefield. This is a temporary 4-month position, requiring your expertise on-site for 3 days per week.

Job Description
As Payroll Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and process weekly and monthly payrolls for the organisation.
• Ensure the accuracy of payroll data, including statutory deductions and adjustments.
• Act as the primary contact for payroll-related queries from employees.
• Provide detailed payroll reports and assist with audits, when required.
• Comply with all relevant UK payroll legislation and regulations.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including weekly and monthly schedules.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax codes, and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively during on-site days.

Working Hours & Location
