Job description

Sewell Wallis is currently recruiting for a Payroller to join a well-established company based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Payroller who thrives on providing high-level support whilst working within a fast-paced environment.

The key focus of the Payroller role will be to ensure both weekly and monthly staff's payroll is correct on the system and any queries are dealt with.

Within this role you will be reporting to a very personable and friendly Finance Manager and this role has become available due to the business going through a period of growth.

What will you be doing?
  • Processing end to end payroll on both a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Dealing with all queries relating to payroll.
  • Processing both weekly and monthly payroll journals.
  • Dealing with queries in a timely manner.
  • Ad hoc duties to support the wider finance team.
  • Dealing with reconciliations.
What skills are we looking for?
  • Experience in SAGE Payroll is needed.
  • Have previous payroll experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload.
