Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be partnered with a highly regarded professional services firm in the city of London in search of an experienced Payroll and Benefits Assistant. The role will sit within a lean and close-knit team, holding key responsibilities in the end to end running of the monthly in-house UK payroll and benefits.
The Payroll & Benefits Assistant responsibilities will include:
Supporting the end to end running of the monthly payroll for 600 UK employees in Workday. Including posting payroll journals.
Process and administer day to day payroll including starters, leavers, SSP, SMP, SPP, using manual calculations when required.
Support on month end and year end processes & reporting.
Carry out reconciliations between payroll & HMRC information.
Support the administration of benefits including, benefit platform (Darwin) management, and annual renewals.
Reconcile monthly and annual benefits information.
Support the monthly UK pension management and auto-enrolment.
Essential experience:
Strong UK in-house payroll experience (processing payroll monthly including month and year end reporting)
Administration and management of employee benefits. Experience working with benefit brokers.
Experience and understanding of UK pension auto-enrolment.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong excel skills.
Desirable experience:
Experience in the professional services sector (particularly partnership models)
