Your new company

This award-winning further education team is looking to appoint a vibrant and ambitious individual with experience in end-to-end payroll & pension administration. Based across North Manchester sites, you will be expected to work from either location 4 days a week and 1 day from home for 36 hours.

Your new role

In this position, you will work in a supported and friendly environment, serving as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries internally and with an external outsourced payroll provider. You should have experience with end-to-end payroll and pensions, be able to check for variances through reports from the payroll provider, and decipher calculations for statutory payments.

The role also involves working alongside the HR team to assist with new starter and leaver administration and handling ad hoc pension queries between pension providers.

This role is ideal for someone with a payroll processing background, as 85% of duties will be payroll/pension related.

You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail in payroll duties, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
