Job Role: Payroll Assistant - Immediate Start

Hours: 2 days per week (Flexible days, onsite attendance required)

Duration: Ongoing

Location: Brighton

Office Angels is seeking an ongoing Payroll Assistant to support the finance function at their Brighton site. This is a temporary role with immediate start.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver accurate payroll processing in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
  • Maintain payroll data, process forms and pay actions such as new starters, leavers, pay changes, claims, and expenses.
  • Handle pensions, holiday pay, SMP, SSP, deductions, and calculate monthly payroll, including report preparation and data analysis.
  • Assist with HMRC submissions and year-end processes, including employee P60s.
  • Support month-end and statutory reporting, and post payroll journals.
  • Coordinate with auditors on pay-related queries.
