My client is an accountancy practice in the Harrogate area. Working in an established finance team, you will be the go-to person for the payroll processing. Our client is looking for an payroll professional with prior experience in payroll processing to join them on a permanent basis.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Partners of the business, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly payroll for the business' clients.

The role is based fully on-site at superb offices and offers great flexible working options and benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the payroll processing alongside the other team members
  • Process improvements and minimising errors
  • Solving queries relating to payroll and queries relating to pay
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders and working closely with other departments
  • Producing reports for senior management with regards to payroll
  • Ability to assist on hands on payroll and work independently
  • Using Brightpay system for payroll and Microsoft Excel
Requirements
  • Able to demonstrate independent responsibility
  • Examples to show your experience of balancing workload
  • Interest in working in teams
  • Previous experience processing complex payrolls
  • Need to be up to date on legislation
  • Experience of working with other departments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Brightpay system experience would be ideal
