Job summary

Lonza is hiring a Payroll Apprentice in Manchester to start an entry-level pathway into the EMEA Payroll Services team. The role involves gaining practical experience in payroll administration, employee query management, payroll controls and HR processes while delivering accurate and timely payroll services across EMEA.

You will undertake 16 months of apprenticeship training, working toward a Level 3 HR Support qualification, with a hybrid work policy (2 days in the office, 3 days remote).

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow payroll processes to learn monthly activities across EMEA.
• Assist with payroll data collection and validation.
• Support preparation of payroll instructions for the provider.
• Handle employee queries via HR/payroll ticketing channels.
