Teamforce Labour Limited is a leading supplier of skilled personnel to the Construction, Rail, Civil Engineering and Utilities sectors across the UK. We are seeking a highly organisedPayroll & Data Entry Officerto join our busy head office team.
This role is ideal for either:
Experienced payroll administratorslooking to work in a fast-paced construction labour supply environment.
Data entry or administrative professionalswith strong Excel skills who are keen to train in payroll.
Full payroll process training will be provided for candidates with a strong data entry/administration background.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and validate weekly timesheet data from multiple labour sites and operatives.
  • Cross-check shift details, job roles and pay rates against project-specific rate cards.
  • Prepare payroll spreadsheets for submission to external payroll firms.
  • Liaise with consultants and site staff to resolve any timesheet discrepancies before deadlines.
  • Maintain internal payroll logs and reports to ensure audit readiness.
  • Handle all personal data in line with GDPR and company policies.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience indata entry, administration or payroll support.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and data formatting desirable).
  • Ability to meet tight weekly deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of PAYE, CIS or umbrella payroll models.
  • AAT or CIPP qualification (or working towards).
  • Experience within construction labour compliance and timesheet systems.
