An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-known and successful organisation based in North Liverpool. Seeking a Payroll Analyst to support the HR and Payroll Team.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Processing weekly payroll with a right first-time approach
  • Ensuring all hours and absences are imported correctly from Time and Attendance system to the payroll system, performing checks and correcting any discrepancies ahead of running payroll
  • Analysing pre-payroll reports and reconciling discrepancies ahead of preparing final payroll authorisation
  • Reconciling flexible benefit provider selections and resolving any weekly benefit issues that may occur
  • Manage own and assigned payroll query emails
  • Monitoring weekly payroll mailbox ensuring all emails are responded to in a timely manner
  • Ensure weekly hours are collated and processed in line with deadlines
  • Liaise with wider payroll team to ensure weekly payroll information, including overtime and flexible benefit adjustments are submitted error free and is right first time
  • Fully up to date and knowledgeable of all Company policies and procedures to deliver the highest standards of payroll advice to employees

The Successful candidate will need to have:

  • Knowledge of SAP payroll (essential)
  • Previous experience of working within a payroll environment
  • Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
  • Effective diary management, planning and organising
  • Strong attention to detail
