OCS is recruiting a Payroll Advisor to join our payroll team in Ipswich. You will be responsible for processing one division's payrolls, validating new starters, calculating tax codes, and issuing P45s for leavers, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the payroll system.

The role requires attention to detail, proficiency with Excel, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will provide guidance to employees and managers and support ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or higher.
• Experience in a payroll environment with knowledge of PAYE/NI/Student Loans.
• Proficiency with Excel (including basic functions).

Responsabilités

• Process one division's payrolls and assist with others.
• Verify new starter details and tax codes.
• Process leaver records and issue P45s.
• Process amendments for holidays, sickness, maternity/paternity.
• Prepare reports on statutory deductions payments to third parties.
• Provide payroll info and guidance to employees and managers.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and information requests.
