Job Description

Job Title: Payroll Advisor

Location: London-based with hybrid working

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Advisor to join our Finance team. If you excel in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and want to ensure accurate and timely employee payments, this role is ideal for you.

You will be part of a well-established team managing payroll for over 20,000 crew members biweekly, along with two monthly payrolls for salaried staff. Daily tasks may include running payroll cycles, resolving queries, or supporting new system implementations.

You will also have opportunities to contribute to projects, suggest improvements, and influence our processes within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely employee payments
  • Manage and resolve payroll queries with high customer service standards
  • Support system implementations, including transition to Zellis ResourceLink
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet departmental goals
  • Maintain payroll data integrity and security
  • Assist with year-end processing and compliance
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years payroll experience
  • Experience with Zellis HCM ResourceLink (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and pension legislation
  • Experience in fast-paced, change-driven environments
  • Problem-solving skills and a mindset for continuous improvement
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with SOX controls, RRS, PowerBI, or system implementation (a plus)
