Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Payroll Administrator to support payroll for over 39,000 employees and pensioners on a four-weekly payroll. You will input and validate data in Workday, ensuring accurate processing of statutory payments and deductions across our pubs and brands.

The role emphasizes high accuracy, confidentiality, and strong IT literacy, including Excel, with potential for ad hoc project work and progression within our People Operations team.

Qualifications

• Good numeric and literacy skills; GCSE Maths and English (9-6 or A*-B) are essential; further education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Data input of employee information into Workday
• Validating data entered onto Workday by employees and managers
• Processing payroll and checking calculations of statutory payments and deductions
• Processing of absence and calculation of sick/maternity/paternity/shared parental/adoption payments
• Assist with any ad hoc project work as required
