Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is partnering with a leading business services organisation to recruit a Payroll Administrator to support a growing payroll function. You will handle monthly payrolls across a large multi-entity group and respond to payroll queries from employees and managers.

The role requires knowledge of UK payroll legislation, experience with payroll software and Excel, and a strong eye for detail and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a payroll position.
• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation.
• Confident using payroll systems and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payrolls across a multi-entity group.
• Handle payroll queries from employees and managers.
• Complete payroll checks, reconciliations and reports.
• Ensure statutory requirements are met (HMRC, SSP, SMP, etc.).
• Maintain employee payroll records and data changes.
• Work closely with the People and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
