Payroll Administrator/Bookkeeper - Leamington Spa

Salary -Competitive dependant on experience

Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week - part time hours also considered

Holiday - 25 days holiday entitlement, increasing by 1 day for every 3 full years service up to a maximum of 30 days

TC Ollis in Leamington Spa are seeking a detail-orientated and proactive Payroll Administrator / Bookkeeper to join our team. Ideally on a full time basis but we are open to candidates looking for part time hours.

The role involves processing payroll on a regular basis while ensuring compliance with HMRC and all relevant statutory regulations. You will be responsible for managing employee records, including onboarding new starters, processing leavers, and updating changes. The successful candidate will also handle queries from staff and clients, assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns, and support bookkeeping activities using client accounting software. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities of a Payroll Administrator/Bookkeeper will include:

  • processing payroll on a regular basis
  • ensuring compliance with HMRC and statutory regulation
  • managing starters, leavers and changes to employee records
  • handling queries from staff and clients
  • assisting with preparation of VAT returns and submission
  • assisting with bookkeeping on client software
About you

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • experience with Pay Circle and Xero is desired
