Payroll Admin/Bookkeeper

Location: Princes Risborough Office Based
Hours: Full Time, Hours are flexible
Salary: Depending on experience

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Previous experience in payroll/bookkeeping, preferably in a similar role or within a payroll department
  • You should live within a 15-mile radius of Princes Risborough
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Ability to research and present findings with accuracy and clarity
  • Proficient typing skills with good speed and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail for entering data and identifying errors in financial records
  • Solid math skills for precise record-keeping
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills for managing and filing financial records

What will your role as a Payroll Admin/Bookkeeper look like?

  • Setting up new payroll and pension schemes
  • Processing weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Processing CIS claims
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records for clients
  • Calculating PAYE, NI, SMP and SSP as well as student loans and payrolling of benefits
  • Processing year end and issuing P60s
  • Communicating with clients concerning their payroll requirements
  • Submitting information to pension companies where appropriate
  • Issuing P45s as requested
