Job description

I am recruiting for a Payroll Administrator for my client who are a growing business in Wembley

The role is office based Monday to Friday 9am 6pm

Salary is up to GBP33000 dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the processing of high-volume fortnight payrolls
  • Tracking, processing and amending holiday pay, Statutory Sickness Pay and other forms of leave such as maternity/paternity pay, etc.
  • Checking and validating information provided by the sites and ensuring all necessary documents are received on time and are in line with HMRC payroll guidelines.
  • Checking and validating new starter documentation
  • Ensuring all leaver documentation are received and made leavers in Iris Payroll.
  • Maintaining and tracking Right to Work documents.
  • Monitor the payroll mailbox and ensuring all queries are dealt with within a 24 hour SLA.
  • Attending to telephone payroll queries.

Essential requirements are:

  • 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume retail/catering environment.
  • Preferably have experience in Iris Payroll.
  • Passionate about a career in Payroll.
  • Resilient and Adaptable.
  • Pro-active attitude to work.
  • Strong numeracy skills with good analytical mind.
  • Self-starter with good organisational skills being able to multitask, plan, prioritises and meets tight deadlines.
  • Ability to build strong business and human relationship at all levels and be a team player.
