They are currently seeking a Payroll Assistant to join their team at their office based near Wandsworth. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our dedicated staff. Role Details:

  1. Position: Payroll Administrator
  2. Location: South West London
  3. Salary: Paying up to £29K
  4. Office-based
  5. Working Hours: 08:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the human resources department to maintain employee data.
  2. Update employee bank records as needed to ensure accurate payment processing.
  3. Assist in processing the monthly payroll, including statutory year-end returns (P60s, P45).
  4. Generate payroll reports in line with HR and business requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Proficiency in using Excel spreadsheets.
  2. Must have finance or payroll experience.
  3. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  4. Strong attention to detail.
  5. Sage Payroll is not a must but is advantageous.
