As a result of our success and ongoing expansion plans, the Range has opened a brand-new Distribution Centre, the largest warehouse built in over 5 years, in Stowmarket, Gateway 14 Freeport, just 2 minutes from A14 J50.

This investment creates great opportunities, and we are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator.

Position: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Working hours will be 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional changes to meet operational requirements.

Pay Rate: Excellent salary based on experience.

What does the role entail?

  • Reporting to the HR Manager, responsible for key administrative tasks to ensure colleagues are paid correctly, on time, and in line with relevant legislation.
  • Processing new starters and leavers within our payroll system.
  • Gathering and checking timesheets, applying appropriate rules.
  • Updating and maintaining relevant data with confidentiality.

What skills & experience do we seek?

  • Payroll experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of using a Time and Attendance System.
  • Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Prioritising workload effectively.
  • Adherence to strict confidentiality policies.
  • Organised individual with a tidy workstation.
