Location: Stowmarket

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (occasional flexibility required)

Salary: GBP 26,325

Role Overview

Reporting to the HR Manager, the Payroll Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring colleagues are paid accurately and on time, adhering to all relevant legislation and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for new starters and leavers accurately and timely
  • Gather, review, and apply payroll rules to timesheets and attendance data
  • Maintain and update payroll data while ensuring confidentiality
  • Support the HR team with general administrative payroll tasks
  • Work to deadlines ensuring compliance with payroll regulations
Skills And Experience Required
  • Proven payroll experience is essential
  • Experience with Time and Attendance systems
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently as well as in a team
  • Commitment to confidentiality and maintaining data security
  • Organised and proactive with a tidy working style
