Job Description:

EQUANS is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our Shared Services team based at Quorum Business Park, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. The salary ranges from £24,000 to £26,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience, along with a benefits package.

  • Manage salaries, statutory payments/deductions, and reporting with precision, interacting daily with multiple stakeholders, payroll frequencies, and pension schemes.

Who are we looking for?

Knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance is essential. Pensions administration knowledge is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Experience with SAP ERP is preferred but not mandatory. The candidate should have excellent administration skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of GDPR and analytical skills are also required. The role requires passing a Basic DBS check.
