Portfolio Payroll are currently supporting a well estabilished accountancy practice based in the heart of Manchester as they look to recruit a Payroll Administrator on a permanent basis. As a Payroll Administrator, you will assist with the smooth and accurate processing of client payrolls, gaining hands-on experience in a busy bureau-style setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients
  • Inputting and checking payroll data including new starters, leavers, and any adjustments
  • Assisting with statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP
  • Ensuring accurate records are maintained and deadlines are met
  • Helping to resolve payroll queries from clients in a timely and professional manner
  • Working closely with the payroll team to ensure compliance with HMRC regulations
  • Supporting with year-end processes as needed (e.g., P60s, P45s)
