We are looking for a Payroll Administrator for our Arla (Dairy) contract based in Hatfield. As a full-time team member, you’ll work a 5 from 7 shift pattern (including a Sunday), supporting site administration and payroll functions—inputting data into spreadsheets and updating trackers.

Pay, benefits, and more:

We’re offering a salary of up to £28,000 per annum. Benefits include 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), with options to buy additional days, access to high street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, a workplace pension, and other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Processing and submitting weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Managing general HR administration, such as maintaining HR records and updating HR trackers
  • Managing daily absence processes, amending T&A accordingly, and liaising with operations

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally in a people-focused role
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders at various levels
  • Good IT knowledge, especially with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other systems/databases
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively
