We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroller to join our in-house payroll team. This role will assist in processing our monthly payroll for approximately 8,000 colleagues. It is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £26,000.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Payroll processing
  • Accurate processing of end-to-end monthly payroll for circa 1,200 colleagues
  • Review, manage, and resolve payroll queries, including manual payments, ensuring all are accurately recorded
  • Good understanding of statutory payments, including Maternity, Paternity & Shared Parental Leave
  • Experience of full end-to-end payroll preferred
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working as part of a payroll team is essential
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Competent in manual payroll calculations
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining composure
  • Experience with payroll software such as PeopleXD (Access), SuccessFactors (SAP), Oracle, Dayforce (Ceridian), or Workday
  • Proficient in Excel, with knowledge of VLOOKUPs
  • CIPP qualification is desirable but not essential
