Job summary

CVS Group is hiring a Payroll Administrator to deliver a comprehensive payroll service across the organisation. The role includes data collection, processing, and payments, with training provided.

The position is based at our Head Office in Diss, with some on-site work and the option to work from home. Flexible hours, full- or part-time options, and a focus on accuracy and confidentiality are offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-volume payroll environment.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Up-to-date working knowledge of HMRC legislation and Statutory Payments.
  • Providing high-quality customer and payroll service.
  • Attentive to detail and able to logically resolve payroll issues.
  • Good time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to integrate with the team and other departments.
  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely, accurate collection of all payroll data monthly.
  • Inputting & importing data templates to the payroll system.
  • Calculation of absence & statutory sick payments.
  • Calculation of statutory maternity/adoption/paternity payments.
  • Problem-solving & advising employees on queries in a professional manner.
  • Calculations of overpayments and agreements for payment, overseeing recovery of overpayments.
  • Manual gross to net calculations and calculations of appropriate system adjustments.
  • Deductions from salary & payment over of AEO's, SAYE, childcare vouchers, Cycle to Work, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with National Minimum Wage legislation.
  • Compliance with business policies and procedures.
  • Contributing to the development of departmental processes.

Job description

Join CVS Group, where it's in our nature to care, support, learn, and progress, as a Payroll Administrator.

The purpose of this role is to produce and provide a comprehensive and professional service throughout the organisation concerning the payroll function and the coordination and supply of services relating to employees' pay and benefits. Training is provided for all payroll tasks and responsibilities listed below.

Role Location

This role is based at our Head Office in Diss, where you will work part of your hours on-site and have the option to work the rest from home.

Please note: we can be flexible on hours and days worked. Whether you want to work full-time or part-time across mornings, afternoons or evenings, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
