Payroll Administrator Birmingham (Hybrid) £32,000 p/a + Bonus

A large, well-established organisation is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join its dynamic and collaborative payroll team in Birmingham. You’ll play a key role in delivering timely and accurate payroll services while providing first-class support to employees and stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Processing the full end-to-end payroll cycle for a large, multi-site workforce
  2. Ensuring timely and accurate payroll submissions in line with internal and statutory deadlines
  3. Managing compliance with HMRC, pensions, and other statutory requirements
  4. Responding to employee payroll queries in a helpful and professional manner
  5. Maintaining data accuracy across payroll systems and documentation
  6. Liaising with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration and support
What we’re looking for:
  1. Proven experience within a full payroll lifecycle role
  2. Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation, RTI, and statutory reporting
  3. A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  4. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  5. Confidence using payroll systems and Microsoft Office tools
  6. Previous HR exposure would be a bonus, but not essential
