Stellantis Payroll Apprentice

  • £19,000annual salary plus competitive benefit package
  • Hybrid working. Working from our Coventry office minimum once per week, but this could be more based on business requirements
  • 2 year fixed term contract to complete study of Payroll Administrator Level 3

Your Journey With Us

Our Payroll Apprentice role aims to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the Stellantis Payroll function by giving you on the job learning as well as studying Payroll Administrator Level 3. We believe that this comprehensive approach will enable you to develop your skills, and provide you with a strong foundation for your future career.

Role Responsibility

  • Preparation and processing of New Hires, Internal transfers, and terminations in system.
  • Accurate entry of static data, work patterns, payment calculations and processing.
  • Adhere HMRC Compliance for these activities.
  • Apply Contract/Salary changes adhering to company rules and compliance.
  • Assisting in the calculation and processing of Standard Company cars.
  • Processing company car schemes and handling employee queries.
  • Pension enrolment, submission of data to Pension provider.
  • Query resolution with Pension provider and employees.
  • Process changes to Third Party voluntary deductions or contribution rates, monthly and annually.
  • Assisting in generating payroll reports to HR Teams, Auditors and Third-Party Stakeholders.
  • Learning and using payroll/time and attendance software to input data and generate payslips.
  • Learning and using payroll reporting tools.
  • Troubleshooting minor issues with payroll systems and escalating more complex issues to senior staff.
  • Gaining knowledge and understanding of payroll systems, taxation, and HR practices.
  • Attending training sessions and workshops to develop skills and stay updated with payroll processes and regulations.

Are you the ONE?

You should have a minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent qualifications. A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential. (If you do not drive you must be comfortable commuting to our Coventry office.)

We are looking for a self-motivated, passionate, innovative individual. You should have excellent communication skills and are able to build strong, collaborative, working relationships with employees and teams across the organisation and at all levels. You will need to be organised and good at absorbing information and analysing problems, above all with a creative mindset.

*If you have attained a higher level of education than GCSEs (or equivalent), eg. A levels, NVQ or degree, this cannot include any element of Payroll within the study subject.

*Please note, if you have covered any elements of Payroll in your study, you will not be eligible for the apprenticeship and we therefore, will be unable to accept your application.
