Job summary

Acro Aircraft Seating Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Accounts Assistant to join our team in the UK. The role is split roughly 50/50 between payroll administration and core financial processing, including invoice entry and accounts payable.

The successful candidate will handle end-to-end payroll cycles, RTI submissions, pension auto-enrolment, and supplier invoice processing while balancing monthly deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in payroll processing and accounts payable.
• Experience handling end-to-end payroll cycles and invoice-to-payment workflows.
• Ability to balance payroll deadlines with daily transactional tasks.

Responsibilities

• Payroll administration and end-to-end payroll processing monthly.
• Maintain payroll records, process new starters and leavers, changes and bank updates.
• Submit RTI and HMRC returns; manage pension auto-enrolment and payroll deductions.
• Support internal payroll queries and provide payslip/tax guidance.
• Process supplier invoices, cost allocations, and approvals.
• Prepare supplier payments (BACS) and reconcile card/expense claims.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and PO matching.
• Assist month-end close with accruals and prepayments.
