A growing company in Liversedge is seeking an experienced Payroll / Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team. This full-time permanent role offers the flexibility of working over 4 or 5 days a week. Responsibilities include managing payroll for 80 staff, handling sales and purchase ledgers, and addressing queries. Candidates should have prior experience with SAGE and strong communication skills. Competitive salary range of £31,500 to £37,000.

Are you an experienced Payroll / Accounts Assistant currently seeking a new full-time permanent job with the flexibility of working over 4 or 5 days? Would you like to work for a very well established, growing company being part of a small friendly team? Is Liversedge, West Yorkshire convenient for you? If so, then this could be the ideal job for you!

Your duties as Payroll / Accounts Assistant will include:

  • Weekly payroll for approximately 80 staff
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Sales Ledger
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Dealing with cash payments
  • Taking incoming calls and dealing with any queries
  • Any other duties as required
  • You will have:

  • Previous payroll and accounts experience using SAGE
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to prioritise a very busy workload
  • In addition, you will be a friendly, confident, flexible and adaptable team player able to work well under pressure.

    Hours of work are full-time between 38 and 40 per week with the flexibility to condense over 4 days if preferred
