Job summary

A well-established growing company in Liversedge is seeking an experienced Payroll / Accounts Assistant. You will be responsible for weekly payroll for approximately 80 staff, managing sales and purchase ledger, and handling cash payments. Ideal candidates will have previous experience using SAGE and excellent organisational and communication skills. This full-time position offers flexibility to work over 4 or 5 days and a supportive team environment.

Are you an experienced Payroll / Accounts Assistant currently seeking a new full-time permanent job with the flexibility of working over 4 or 5 days? Would you like to work for a very well established, growing company being part of a small friendly team? Is Liversedge, West Yorkshire convenient for you? If so, then this could be the ideal job for you!

Your duties as Payroll / Accounts Assistant will include:

• Weekly payroll for approximately 80 staff
• Processing new starters and leavers
• Sales & Purchase Ledger
• Dealing with cash payments
• Taking incoming calls and dealing with any queries
• Meeting and greeting visitors
• Any other duties as required

You will have:

• Previous payroll and accounts experience using SAGE
• Good communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• The ability to prioritise a very busy workload

In addition, you will be a friendly, confident, flexible and adaptable team player able to work well under pressure.

Hours of work are full-time between 38 and 40 per week with the flexibility to condense over 4 days if preferred.
