Job summary

Darktrace is seeking a Payroll Accountant to join the global payroll team in Cambridge. You will manage a range of accounting tasks related to processing Darktrace’s payroll and benefits, ensuring journals are accurate and posted on time, and supporting month-end processes.

The role requires AAT Level 4 with progression towards ACCA/CIMA, strong Excel/Word skills, and experience in payroll within a medium/large multinational.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 4 required.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Experience in payroll or accounting within a medium/large international company.

Responsibilities

• Process designated payroll journals accurately and timely.
• Respond to queries around payroll journals.
• Update monthly SoFP and SoPL workbook.
• Post month end accruals and prepayments.
• Assist with audits (group, parent, subsidiary).
• Post benefits and payroll invoices and prepayments.
• Support ad hoc reporting (STBV, PSA, Gender Pay Gap).
