Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the SAP Fioneer Payment Centralisation programme. You will work with programme leaders, architects, engineers and external partners to deliver complex payment initiatives across the Group, focusing on BACS, CHAPS and Card Clearing & Settlement.

You will operate in a hybrid model with two days per week in the Swindon or London offices, and potential for home-working alignment. Strong knowledge of SAP Fioneer is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex technology or business transformation programmes within the payments industry.
• Deep practical experience of SAP Fioneer Payment Centralisation and integration of related processes.
• Extensive knowledge of UK and international payments (BACS, CHAPS, Card Clearing/Settlement).
• Ability to translate SAP concepts for diverse stakeholders and coach delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across the Payment Centralisation platform with governance, planning and risk management.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams, dependencies and suppliers to align with strategic payments roadmaps.
• Act as trusted advisor to accelerate decision making and reduce delivery risk.
