Job summary

MRJ Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Payments Project Manager to lead a major transformation of a global commerce marketplace’s payments capability. You will drive from vendor selection through integration, migration and implementation, coordinating internal teams and a chosen provider such as Stripe, Worldpay, Adyen or similar.

The role requires hands-on delivery experience in large-scale payments projects, strong governance, and effective communication with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading payments implementation, integration or migration with Stripe, Worldpay, Adyen or similar.
• Coordination of internal and vendor teams across complex technology landscapes.
• Legacy-to-modern transformation, including migration, coexistence, transition and decommissioning.
• Dependency/RAID management, governance and senior stakeholder communication.
• Payments experience is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payments platform integration with the new provider into the existing tech stack.
• Coordinate internal engineering and external provider teams to align requirements, APIs, environments, testing and operations.
• Create and manage delivery roadmap from mobilisation through build, integration, testing and production launch.
• Own the migration plan from the existing payments platform to the new solution with minimal disruption.
• Act as the key interface between Finance and Technology throughout the programme.
