Serving clients in 95 countries, Services provides integratedpayments and collections, liquidity management, short term financingand trade financing, Investor Services (including Custody, FundServices and Execution Services) and Issuer Services solutions tomultinational corporations, financial institutions, public sectororganisations and increasingly mid-sized corporate clients with globalneeds. These services are supported by our extensive on-the-groundlocal market expertise, innovative technologies, customised datasolutions and a wide range of solutions that can be tailored to meetclients' needs.

The Payments business is one of 5business lines within Services and operates across the 95 countries.The Payments Target Operating Model Director is a senior levelposition and will be vital in driving Payments to our Target OperatingModel (TOM) with a focus on ensuring the delivery of a scalable modelthat aligns to our business strategy. This role will be central inbringing the organisation together across Payments Product, PDSProduct, Operations, Technology, Controls, Operational Risk Managementand other second line partners to define priorities, drive results andaccelerate the execution of our strategy.

This globalrole will report to the Head of UK and Europe Payments & OperationsTransformation and requires a broad and comprehensive understanding ofthe Payments business and ideally a thorough understanding of theoperational environment. The role also requires strong leadershipabilities, exceptional communication skills and a strong focus onexecution. This role will place the successful candidate at the heartof Citi's Payment Business with responsibility for one of ourcritical priorities and with significant ability to shape the future.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible inconjunction with Operations and Technology partners for the executionof programs that delivers a scalable defined Target Operating Modelfully aligned to our business strategy.
  • Ensure continuousalignment between product strategy and our operational productivityand risk objectives and ensuring systematic incorporation of keymetrics into our product and operations management disciplines.
  • Act as horizontal lead for product decisioning and design whenissue at hand cuts across multiple products.
  • Responsiblefor developing a sustainable holistic model that identifies,prioritises, and executes productivity, scale, modernisation, and riskreduction initiatives with consistent metrics embedded into ourinvestment process.
  • Engage across PDS, Partnership team andbroader organisation to explore needle moving partnershipopportunities.
  • Responsible for execution accelerationthrough robust planning and dynamic unblocking of issues.
  • Ensure the systematic incorporation of other key firm and Serviceswide objectives into our Target Operating Model E.g. Critical BusinessServices.
  • Responsible for ensuring efficiency in executionof multiple initiatives and ensuring initiatives are complementary andaligning to TOM.

What we'll need from you:
  • Relevant experience within the Payments environment - broadand comprehensive understanding of the Payments business and athorough understanding of the operational environment.
