Job summary

CellPoint Digital Limited in the UK is seeking a Solution Architect to translate client requirements into credible architectures for our payments orchestration platform.

You will lead technical pre-sales, align product and engineering, and define integration patterns across acquiring, routing, and payment methods. The role emphasizes collaboration with sales and executive stakeholders and requires broad payments expertise. Remote-friendly, international delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in client-facing solution architecture, technical pre-sales, or senior technical consulting roles in payments.
• Expertise in payment orchestration, acquiring & PSP relationships, and card schemes.
• Experience with API-first platforms and enterprise integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solutioning for strategic prospects, defining architectures across acquiring, routing, payment methods, and value-added services.
• Serve as technical lead for RFPs/RFIs/workshops, translating requirements into designs and ensuring feasibility.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to align commercial proposals with technical capabilities and standards.
• Create reference architectures, patterns, and configuration blueprints to accelerate commercial velocity.
• Present solutions to C-suite and technical leadership; ensure smooth handover to delivery.
• Define and maintain solution architecture standards, integration patterns, and API usage guidelines.
• Support onboarding and implementation teams with transfer of designs during delivery.
• Stay current with payments ecosystem developments and regulatory changes.
