Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a Product Manager – Payments to drive the product roadmap across digital and in-store payments, with a focus on frictionless customer experience and innovative payment solutions. You'll partner with engineering, UX, data teams and external suppliers, advocate for the payments domain, and translate business needs into deliverable features while balancing speed and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in product/project management.
• Experience with payments, digital sales or complex technical landscapes.
• Good understanding coupled with experience of using software development methodologies.
• Experience working with suppliers to develop and deliver a joint roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between customers and solutions and explain complex payment flows to stakeholders.
• Build collaborative relationships across Agile teams and third-party suppliers; define user journeys and prioritisation.
• Ensure alignment of product outcomes with business goals and technology strategy.
• Champion the product and present clear communications to ensure buy-in.
• Break down complex work into smaller deliverables and prioritise for value.
