Responsibilities

The Payment Processing Specialist is responsible for verifying payout statuses, generating transfers, processing payments, and communicating effectively with clients via email. This role is crucial for maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring efficient payment operations. Deliverables include:

  • Processing payout accounts on regular cycles promptly and accurately according to LaunchGood Payment Standards.
  • Paying close attention to detail to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Verifying and cross-checking all relevant information before processing payments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensuring payout status is approved and meets criteria before initiating payments.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve payout issues.
  • Generating payout reports with transaction details.
  • Using predefined responses to inform clients about payout statuses and maintain transparency.
  • Sending reports and payout details to clients via email.
  • Performing other payment-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with payment processing systems.
  • Knowledge of global payment methods and secure processing.
  • Good communication skills, including professional email drafting.
  • Familiarity with FreshWorks and Google Workspace (Sheets and Docs).
  • Previous experience in payment processing or similar roles is a plus.
