Overview

Building on the success of the US Central Pricing Desk, we are excited to expand our team to EMEA. As part of the Global Revenue Management Team, the EMEA Central Pricing Desk will be a centre of excellence for deal pricing, approval governance, and pricing intelligence. This is a unique opportunity to help shape pricing strategy in the EMEA region, improve pricing transparency, and drive efficiency in deal pricing and back book repricing activities.

Job Summary

As a Vice President in the EMEA Central Pricing Desk, you would play a strategic role in producing competitive and profitable pricing proposals. You would collaborate with Sales and Product teams to enhance pricing models and tools through process improvement and effective controls. Your responsibilities would include conducting sensitivity analyses, scenario planning, developing negotiation strategies, and presenting pricing proposals to Payments leadership for approval.

You would be a key contributor to the team’s success by designing and creating MIS for reporting and presenting to senior stakeholders, including the number of deals supported, deal outcomes, conditional approval tracking, and revenue ramping. You would leverage data analytics to enhance price modelling, support pricing strategy and manage repricing events.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead complex pricing execution scenarios and handle ad-hoc requests as the primary expert.
  • Work with Sales and Product Teams to understand client needs and decision criteria to create pricing proposals to maximize wallet and client profitability.
  • Understand overall deal economics and proactively suggest options to enhance the client value proposition and improve the probability of winning profitable business.
  • Facilitate deal reviews, including financial sensitivity and scenario planning, and presentation to Sales and Payments leadership.
  • Maintain oversight of pricing models and tools and work with Product/Sales to continually make enhancements.
  • Work with Product to test/pilot and roll out new pricing approaches.
  • Develop recommendations to advise leadership on growth opportunities, including improvements to product and segment strategies.
  • Analyze win/loss history and other data to refine portfolio pricing and feed into pricing strategy to sharpen our competitive value proposition, deliver profitable growth and optimal client wallet penetration.
  • Assess appropriately risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding our clients and their assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and applying sound judgment
  • Identify, report, and manage control issues with transparency.
Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Degree in finance and/or quantitative disciplines
  • Experience in financial analysis
  • Familiarity with the payments industry, including an understanding of the payments value chain, key product areas, market segments, and industry trends.
  • Creative/lateral-thinking skills to recognize and realize innovation opportunities that can enhance how we price and deliver value to clients.
  • Strong client orientation and ability to work well under deadlines, ability to adapt to changing client/deal circumstances and dynamically manage priorities.
  • Ability to apply financial forensic techniques; identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work across businesses and support functions.
