Job summary

A compliance consultancy firm is seeking a compliance manager to support a payments business in London. This hands-on contract role starts immediately and runs for initially 10 weeks. You'll focus on drafting and updating compliance policies, monitor compliance, provide audit support, and cover payments regulation, including PSD2 and FSMA. Proven compliance experience at the manager level is essential, and you'll need to be immediately available. The role is hybrid, with remote working considered for candidates willing to travel to London occasionally.

Qualifications

• Proven payments / EMI compliance experience at manager level or above.
• Comfortable delivering at pace with minimal supervision.
• Immediately available.
• London-based preferred (remote considered with some London visits).

Responsibilities

• Drafting and updating compliance policies and procedures.
• Compliance monitoring and audit support.
• Payments regulatory coverage including PSD2 / FSMA.
• Working across safeguarding, complaints, Consumer Duty, operational resilience.
• Authorisation and/or change of control processes.
