SThree is pleased to announce we're recruiting for a talented Payment and Banking Team Lead to join our excellent team at our Cadworks Office in Glasgow on a permanent basis.
The Payment/Banking Team Leader is responsible for ensuring all payments across all SThree regions are made timely and accurately, including non-trade accounts, employee expenses, manual payments, and payroll, working to ensure the highest quality process is in place. Any rejected or refunded payments are captured and worked to an end resolution. The role also involves maintaining effective controls and implementing continuous improvement processes.

What are the day-to-day tasks?
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support for all IT products and services.
- Proactively owning Technology Support issues related to specific sites as defined by the Service Delivery Manager.
- Answering inbound calls, live chat, and self-service requests; documenting, prioritizing, assigning, tracking, and responding to incidents and requests promptly.
- Owning incidents throughout their lifecycle.
- Managing Desktop equipment, Video Conferencing, Audio Visual, and Telephony issues in regional sites, engaging with third-party vendors or traveling when needed.
- Escalating issues to internal and external 3rd level support.
- Acting as liaison between regional customers and Group Technology to ensure mutual understanding of needs and plans.
- Identifying opportunities to improve team knowledge, increasing first contact resolution rates and self-support resources.
- Managing asset processes in the region, in line with group policies.
- Working outside core hours when required, including travel to other UK offices.
- Collaborating with regional colleagues to identify and resolve problem trends.
- Following procedures for secure IT system access for new starters, leavers, and staffing changes.
- Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving operational events, alerts, and incidents, escalating where necessary, and maintaining logs.
- Completing routine housekeeping tasks on infrastructure and IT services.
- Liaising with third-party suppliers for escalation of production issues.
- Participating in office setup, refurbishment, and legacy technology retirement projects.
- Handling local office delivery projects as directed.
What skills and knowledge are we looking for?
- Expertise in current server and desktop OS, networking, internet, telephony, and video conferencing tools such as Microsoft Teams/O365.
- Management of mobile and laptop devices, including Intune.
- Cisco routers and switches knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
- Proven experience in a corporate technology environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in a Technology or related discipline (preferred).
